Hello, friends.
It’s been a while.
If you’ve been with me on this journey, you know the last several years have held deep shifts — loss, rebuilding, waiting, wandering, awakening. Some seasons arrive like storms… others like invitations. Mine has held both.
What you may not know is that this little corner of my website — “Heartbites” — has been waiting right along with me. Quietly. Patiently. Like a page holding its breath.
Back when the site launched in 2018, I wrote one post.
Just one.
A month later, my husband moved to heaven.
Life rearranged itself.
Grief rewrote the landscape.
Covid reshaped the world.
My family grew.
My home changed.
My heart changed.
And in the midst of all of that… a book began to unfold inside me.
Not a simple book.
Not a quick book.
But a holy, long, slow-blooming work of Presence — one that has been writing me as much as I’ve been writing it.
This is why Heartbites has been quiet.
Not because I haven’t had anything to say —
but because the story needed time to breathe before it was ready to be spoken.
Today, I return with this simple offering:
I’m still here.
The story is still unfolding.
And Heartbites is awakening again.
Soon you’ll see updates — reflections, Field Notes, glimpses from The Inside God, and pieces of the glow I’ve been carrying in secret places.

Thank you for holding space for something that’s taken years to find its voice.
